Its been a long time...

Wow its been quite awhile since I have posted here, sometimes our lives get so busy and the more we try to do the less we get done, I've been settling into my job and taking alot of courses and just living life. My crafting has taken a back seat to life the past few months but now that the sun is not shining as much and the days are getting cooler I will most likely be spending alot more time in my craftroom so there will be posts added here once again. I have thought about canceling out this blog and my photo blog but decided to keep them for awhile longer and see how I feel in a couple months about them. Since I am lucky enough to have my own craft space I am planning to spend alot more time in there doing what I love to do in my spare time..CRAFT!
So....watch this space I guess...well that is if you want to. Love and light to all who come by here.

Studio 101 August first challange lo

Here is my take on the August first lo over on The Studio blog We were to create a lo using a non scrapbooking item (the ivory turtle) use borders..I have used a few and also to combine stamping with journaling, I have stamped a few of my words in with my hand written journaling.

Here is a page I have done following a pdf tutorial from Scrapdolly on an August 2nd post on her blog. I have totally enjoyed doing this page and featuring the younger and the male of our two cats. Our infamous..Pickles.

Just a couple more items to add...These are for the challange I set over at Charmed cards and crafts...One challange I set was to alter a canvas...requirements were to use paint of any type, use fibres and also use glitter..I added also 3 buttons to mine.

My second challange was for everyone to do a layout with ALOT of journaling, plus since I will be 52 to add either 5 or 2 of something and also to use chipboard. I really like the way both of these have turned out. Love and light to all who pass by here and stop to have a look. xx Tee
